“湖南造”光伏电站在巴西并网发电

The Mauriti Photovoltaic (PV) Project in the state of Ceará in northeastern Brazil was successfully connected to the grid and began operation at full capacity recently.

近日，位于巴西东北部塞阿拉州的玛瑞蒂光伏项目成功实现全容量并网发电。

The project is the largest solar PV plant constructed by a Hunan-based enterprise in South America, undertaken by the Zhongnan Engineering Corporation Limited of the Power Construction Corporation of China, under the EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) mode.

这是湘企在南美洲建设的最大光伏电站，由中国电建集团中南勘测设计研究院有限公司总承包建设。

Spanning dozens of permanent environmentally protected areas across Brazil, this project has been recognized as an exemplary model of high-quality construction and a high-standard ecological conservation, based on the joint efforts of Chinese and Brazilian builders.

据悉，该项目横跨数十个巴西永久环境生态保护区，成为中巴两国建设者携手打造高质量建设和高水平生态保护的典范。

The Mauriti PV project covers around eight square kilometers, in areas with large numbers of mammals, birds, and fishes.

玛瑞蒂光伏项目在约8平方公里的土地上铺展，这里有大量哺乳类、鸟类和鱼类动物。

In order to protect these animals, the project specially set up an environmental protection team consisting of ten biologists, ten archaeologists, three veterinarians, and three veterinary assistants, establishing a temporary wildlife rescue center. As of the completion of the project, a total of 1,959 wild animals have been rescued and relocated safely.

为守护这些动物，该项目部聘请了一支由10名生物学家、10名考古学家、3名兽医以及3名兽医助理组成的环保小组，设置临时动物救治站。截至项目建成，共救助、安全归置了1959只野生动物。

Before commencing construction every day, the environmental protection team patrolled the construction areas, seeking and relocating the potentially affected wildlife with drones and infrared cameras.

每天施工前，环保小组会提前进入施工区域巡查，利用无人机、红外摄像头，寻找并驱离可能受到影响的动物，并对他们进行转移安置。

According to the project manager Zhou Qi, the project has spent approximately 5 to 10 percent of its total investment in social costs, covering environmental management, ecological conservation, and animal rescue.

据项目经理周琦介绍，整个项目社会成本投入约占总投资的5-10%，这些成本涵盖了环境管理、生态保护以及动物救助等方面。

With a total installed capacity of 425 MW, the project can generate nearly one billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually on average, reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 8.2 million tons per year.

玛瑞蒂光伏项目总装机425兆瓦，平均每年可发电近10亿千瓦时，每年可减少二氧化碳排放约820万吨。

The project employs "smart tracking technology," which allows photovoltaic modules to dynamically adjust angles and directions to maximize green energy generation. Moreover, the horizontal single-axis trackers utilized in the project can increase power output by approximately 24 percent compared to fixed-mount ones.

该项目采用了 “智能跟踪技术”，这使得光伏组件能够动态调整角度和方向，从而最大限度地产生绿色能源。此外，该项目中使用的水平单轴跟踪支架与固定式支架相比，可使发电量增加约24%。

Notably, this is Brazil's first photovoltaic plant adopting N-type TOPCon modules. Compared to the conventional P-type, these modules can significantly reduce power attenuation, optimize temperature coefficients for high-temperature environments, and increase energy output by 1.2 percent.

该项目还是巴西首个采用双面N型TOPCon组件的光伏电站，相比P型组件，可显著降低功率衰减，温度系数优化更适应高温环境，可提升发电量1.2%。

Mauriti, a small city with only 40,000 residents, has seen remarkable changes brought by the PV project. Based on the localization principle, 80 percent of the managers and all of the workers in the project are locals. “It has brought jobs and income to us. Many local people got employed instead of seeking jobs afar, while skilled technical personnel have been attracted to join. Local commerce is bustling," said a local resident who worked in the project.

玛瑞蒂是一个仅有4万人口的小城，因为中国企业投资建设的光伏项目发生了很大变化。项目开发建设坚持“属地化”，管理人员、工人属地化率分别达80%和100%。一位曾在该项目上工作的当地居民说：“项目给当地带来就业和收入，很多民众不需要再外出务工，还有技术人才慕名前来，城市商业也繁华了起来。”

Since its inauguration in March 2023, the Mauriti PV Project has created over 3,000 jobs for local residents, generated contracts valued at over one billion CNY in such sectors as technical services, legal support, electrical equipment, and engineering construction, and contributed over 50 million BRL to the tax revenue of Brazil. Recently, the project was awarded the Annual Municipal Contribution Award by the Mauriti Municipal Government.

该项目自2023年3月开工以来，累计为当地创造直接就业岗位3000余个，带动巴西当地技术、法律、电工装备及工程施工服务等合同额累计超过10亿元，为巴西贡献税收超5000万雷亚尔。前不久，玛瑞蒂光伏项目荣获玛瑞蒂“市政贡献奖”。
